We ship anywhere in the United States using reliable carriers to ensure your handcrafted pieces arrive safely and on time. Shipping rates are based on the size of your order and how quickly you’d like to receive it:

• $4.90 – 5 to 8 business days for orders up to 5 lbs
• $7.90 – 3 to 4 business days for orders up to 1 lb
• $9.90 – 3 to 4 business days for orders up to 5 lbs
• $14.90 – 3 to 4 business days for orders 5 lbs and up
• Orders over $70 qualify for FREE SHIPPING!

You’ll receive email updates as your order makes its way to you, so you’ll always know when your new pieces are on their way.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Orders typically ship out within 1-2 business days, and delivery times vary depending on your chosen shipping option. Standard shipping usually takes 5 to 8 business days, while expedited options can arrive in 3 to 4 business days. We’ll send you email updates every step of the way, so you’ll always know when your order is on its way.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $70. For smaller orders, we provide affordable, transparent shipping rates to ensure your handcrafted pieces arrive safely and on time—no hidden fees or surprises. You’ll also receive email updates so you can track your order every step of the way.

How do I track my order?

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship within the United States. We’re working on expanding to international shipping in the future—stay tuned! If you’d like to be notified when we start shipping to your country, feel free to email us at support@solemoonpets.com and we’ll keep you in the loop.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We understand that things can change! If you need to modify or cancel your order, please email us at support@solemoonpets.com as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request. However, please note that once your order has been processed and shipped, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

How do I clean my SoleMoon products?

We recommend spot cleaning your pet accessories to keep them looking beautiful and lasting longer. For the leather parts, use a leather conditioner or gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap in lukewarm water. For the textile areas, you can clean with a bit of dish soap, water, and a soft sponge or brush.

How do I care for my pet's accessories?

To keep your handcrafted pieces looking their best, spot clean leather parts with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, and use leather conditioner to keep them supple. For textile areas, gently clean with a little dish soap, water, and a soft sponge or brush. Avoid harsh cleaners and soaking, and limit exposure to water like swimming pools or oceans to preserve the colors and shape.

What if the waving on my products begin to fray?

If you notice any loose threads or fraying on your SoleMoon piece, don’t worry—it’s often a simple fix! Carefully trim the loose thread down to the textile, then use a lighter to gently melt the end and press it flat against the textile. This will seal the fray and keep your accessory looking its best.

Do you take custom orders?

We’re happy to accommodate custom requests for different sizes and colors of our existing designs whenever possible. Because our pieces are handcrafted in collaboration with artisan partners, these custom orders can take about 1-2 months to complete, depending on availability and demand. Please note that custom orders may have a slightly higher cost to reflect the additional work involved. Who makes the SoleMoon products?

Each SoleMoon product is lovingly handcrafted by skilled women artisans in Chiapas, Mexico. These talented weavers are ethnically Maya and speak Tsotsil, a dialect rooted in ancient Maya culture. By tradition, these weaving techniques are passed down from mother to daughter—an art form that’s both a legacy and a livelihood.

By working directly with these communities, we honor their craft and ensure that every collar, leash, and pet accessory is made with care, respect, and a deep connection to heritage. Your support helps us expand this mission, bringing stability and opportunity to even more artisans in the region.

What are the techniques used to make your products?

Our products are handcrafted using traditional weaving techniques that have been passed down through generations of Maya artisans in Chiapas. One of the main methods is known as “Trenzado a mano”, or hand-braiding, where vibrant threads are carefully woven together to create rich, durable patterns. These techniques reflect centuries of knowledge and cultural heritage, blending artistry and functionality in every collar, leash, and pet accessory we offer.

SoleMoon’s mission is to create unique, handmade pet accessories that honor the rich artisan heritage of Chiapas, Mexico, while empowering the women who keep these ancient weaving traditions alive. We partner directly with skilled artisans—paying them fairly, supporting their families, and ensuring the survival of these culturally significant techniques for generations to come. Our inspiration comes from the deep connection between pets and people, and the belief that every pet accessory should carry a story of care, culture, and soulful design.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your SoleMoon purchase! If you’re not completely satisfied, we accept returns of unused and unaltered items within 30 days of delivery. To start a return, simply email us at support@solemoonpets.com with your order number, the reason for the return, and whether you’d prefer a store credit or refund. Once confirmed, we’ll send you a shipping label. Please note that items must be returned in their original packaging and that shipping costs are non-refundable. How do I exchange an item?

We’re happy to help you find the perfect fit! We accept exchanges for items in new or unworn condition within 30 days of delivery. To get started, please refer to our return policy above. Once we receive your return, we’ll issue store credit so you can pick out a new style that suits your pet perfectly. What is your warranty?

Although our handcrafted collars, leashes, and pet accessories are made with durable materials, we understand that they can wear out over time. That’s why all of our products come with a 1-year limited warranty from the day they’re delivered. If you notice any craftsmanship issues, we’re happy to fix or replace the item for free.

Please note that our warranty doesn’t cover collars or leashes that have been chewed, constantly used in water (like pools or oceans), heavily pulled, or used as tie-outs.
